Paul Cabri has been performing, teaching, and recording in the NY tri-state area for many years, and has been on the faculty of several music schools. Over that time he has performed as a sideman for many solo artists and opened for headliners such as Meatloaf, Howard Jones, and KC & The Sunshine Band . Paul has also worked in theater as a pit musician for the shows GODSPELL and Making Books Sing's presentations of THE BUTTERFLY and JOSE LIMON: THE MAKING OF AN ARTIST, both of which showcased at Symphony Space in NYC. His playing has been featured on THE ACOUSTIC SESSIONS by J-Hype (Mental Instruments Records) and NAKED by Lee (The Square Egg, LLC) as well as the recordings of solo artists John Russo (Musicreations Records), Mike Hirsch (M-Sol Productions), Jefferson Thomas (Evanworks Music) and Elisa Peimer (Hope Tunes) . Some of Paul's compositions and solo work can be heard on his first solo recording, CROSSOVER, an EP released in 2009 and comprised of six instrumental pieces recorded in his Guitarisms studio. As a teacher Paul runs his own practice in the NYC area and is on the faculty of the Village Community School in Manhattan as well as The Berkeley Carroll Creative Summer Arts Program in Brooklyn.
